Details are limited, but the model would reportedly adopt a canvas roof that is similar to the one used on the Fiat 500C. This means the roof mechanism would be built into the car's upper body structure and the vehicle would retain more chassis rigidity than a traditional convertible.
If the reports are accurate, the new drop top could be launched in the spring of 2013.
